This piece is arranged for 3 to 6 octave handbell choir and optional 3 to 7 octaves of handchimes. A haunting and melancholy accompaniment on chimes starts off this arrangement of the well-known hymn tune. Delicate and flowing sixteenth notes underpin the middle verse which leads into a triumphant and chordal final verse. Delightful and unexpected harmonies abound throughout, casting this old favorite in a new light. 48 measures. Keys of G Major and C Major.
