Review:
"Moonlight Lullaby" is a wide-spreading and well-known Canton (Guangdong) nursery rhyme that mothers will sing to their babies during bedtime. It displays the typical daily life of a Chinese fishing/farming family, the wishes of babies' health and peace from the parents to the newborns and the hope for a bumper harvest in the New Year. This arrangement intends to retain the traditional flavor of the rhyme by engaging the different tone qualities of handbells and handchimes; it can also be performed with an optional two-part treble choir. 61 measures.
