Review:
Rhythmically simple and modal, this quiet, meditative arrangement is based on the
"Herzliebster Jesu" tune. Arranged by Susan Berns in c minor, it begins with a simple statement of the melody in the treble clef, followed by a restatement with an eighth-note bass accompaniment. The final section becomes more chordal. It is 44 measures.
