This moving work was written in response to the global increase in violence. Derek has included an introduction to this work which describes the evolution of this work – from fascination with musical cryptograms 20 years ago to feeling compelled to develop that one cryptogram (PEACE) into a beautifully moving musical work based on the words PEACE and DONA NOBIS PACEM.
