This Embellish edition was written for the handbell ensemble “Pleiades” of Yokohama, Japan, and their director Mrs. Sachiko Tanaka. Wherein composer Lee Afdahl brilliantly combines various techniques and weaves them into a musical fabric that’s both lively and zestful. The inner sections of this original work are encapsulated by a pulsing rubato figure at the beginning and the end. 99 measures. Key of E minor.
