Review:
Gigue is a setting for 3, 4, or 5 octaves handbells of the final movement of Handel's well-known Sonata in F Major. Intermediate and Advanced choirs will appreciate the joyful, dance-like rhythms as well as the challenge of the brisk tempo and 12/8 time signature. Optional flute (or other C instrument) and cello parts, taken from Handel's original version, provide additional performance options for this piece. Key of F major. 28 measures with two repeats within the work.
