Review:
The opening chorus to this opera (Verdi's "Nabucco") offers a majestic and moving venue for handbell and added handchimes. The piece offers challenge in its many dynamic demands and the need for careful tonal balance. There are a few chromatic patterns that require quick bell changes. The final result is a beautiful addition to any bell performance. This 41-measure piece is scored in G Major.
