This original Joel Raney Christmas anthem incorporates two verses of “Silent Night” within the structure of a simple, charming ballad. It may be realized with a single piano accompaniment, or with the 4-hand piano part. Additional options include handbells, synth, bass guitar, and percussion (wind chimes, suspended cymbal and orchestra bells). The text is uplifting and hopeful, encouraging us to "let the light of Christmas shine in you." This setting comes from Joel’s popular Christmas musical, The Promise of Light, and includes the opportunity for the congregation to join in on the carol.
