Review:
The good news of Christ's birth is proclaimed with a flourish throughout this arrangement of "Personent Hodie." Pure and steady ringing opens this music, with techniques being added in as the piece progresses. Watch for dynamic changes, some of which are sudden. With the exception of a few measures of eighth notes, rhythms are not challenging; and this is a great arrangement for choirs transitioning from Level 1 to Level 2.
67 measures long, this piece is scored in the c dorian mode.
