Review:
This setting of "Away in a Manger" combines two of the best-known carol melodies (Mueller and Cradle Song) associated with its title. It is delightfully simple enough for beginning choirs and also perfect for more advanced choirs to prepare at a moment's notice for Christmas services.Eighth notes, along with some echo techniques to symbolize the rocking of a cradle, are the most difficult requirements. The two editions are compatible for massed ringing. 49 measures in length, this arrangement is scored in C Major.
