Review:
"March Olympic Gold" was chosen to be a massed ringing selection for the 2012 International Handbell Symposium in Liverpool, England. Since the Olympics will be in London the same summer, the title is only fitting. It is composed in the Grand March style, playable by handbells alone but may be greatly enhanced by the seven brass and percussion instruments. With bold major chords, the piece has the feel of a fanfare. The director's score includes all the instrument parts.
