Review:
Cynthia Dobrinski’s new arrangement of Natalie Sleeth’s endearing hymn treats each of the three verses with a distinct approach that variously utilizes suspended bells played by mallets, vibrato, thumb damps, echoes, and optional 3-6 octave handchimes. Bell changes are minimal. Natalie’s metaphorical text speaks of our resurrection and makes this useful for almost any worship occasion, memorial service or funeral. This lovely setting is 83 measures and is set in Eb Major and F Major.
