Review:
Flowing arpeggiated chords in the piano accompany the handbell melody to this lyrical traditional hymn. Beginning and ending sections are scored for bells from C6 to D7 range and may be arranged in a bell tree configuration for playing ease. The main body of the piece utilizes the bells from D5 through A6, with a lovely duet between the piano and bells in the middle section. The piano setting requires some technical facility but adds great beauty to this arrangement. Scored in 60 measures these piece is set in the key of D Major. Please note that the soloist and the pianist will each need a copy of this arrangement.
