Review:
These two well-loved tunes receive a unique blending in this bronze level
arrangement. It is a rhythmic melange of duplet and triplet eighth notes embedded in meters of 6/8, 9/8, 12/8, 3/4, 5/4 and 6/4. Key centers are C, F, Eb and Ab Majors with some accidentals along the way. The introductory measures are rung, but syncopated mallet patterns become the norm as the piece progresses. This is a fascinating piece with lots of tonal and technical colors and rhythms that drive from beginning to end! It is 135 measures.
