Review:
The handbells can stand alone or may be performed with marimba, and/or strings in this gentle lilting setting of the well known Spanish melody. Originally written for guitar, (and made famous by Enrico Granados), the wistful melody is accompanied by arppeggiated chords, in the style of the late 19th century Spanish Parlor music. Scored in c minor and C Major, it is 73 measures.
