Review:
In this arrangement of the well-known hymntune ("Ville Du Havre"), the melody is first presented by the lower handchimes, while the upper bells give a flowing interpretation of the first line of the text associated with this tune ("When Peace Like a River"). An extended, original middle section begins with the general rhythm and shape of the original melody, but in a minor key. The return to the hymntune is broad and full, but ends quietly with an echo of "It is well" by the handchimes. Measures total 101.
