Review:
With frequent dynamic shifts and tempo changes, this 64-measure piece provides an excellent opportunity for musical expression. Very few techniques are used, allowing choirs to focus on the smooth, pure sounds of ringing and damping. Various sixteenth runs also provide a challenge. Set in the keys of C Major and Ab Major, "The Name of Jesus" is a good fit for any worship service.
