Review:
Winner of the "Three Octave" category of the 2005 Composition Contest sponsored by the Alberta Guild of English Handbell Ringers, the piece is an arrangement of a popular cowboy song of the United States and Canada. Words to the song are included. The piece opens in the key of C Major, modulates into F Major for the middle section, then returns to C Major for the concluding section. The use of optional handchimes, thumb damps and LVs add variety to the verses. Measures total 104. 3 octave and 5 octave versions can be played together.
