Review:
Taken from Felix Mendelssohn's oratorio
Elijah, "Oh, Rest In The Lord" makes an easy and effective transition from vocal solo to handbell selection. The original text's meditative nature is perfectly mirrored in the music, making the piece an excellent change of pace for a concert or moment of reflection for a worship service. The included optional unison or two-part choral setting allows for the addition of a soloist or vocal ensemble. Measures total 39.
