Review:
This new setting for handbells, organ, optional handchimes plus optional trumpet and timpani, begins with a rousing fanfare introduction, followed by two festive verses of the revered hymn. A meditative interlude on "Old Hundredth" provides a lovely, quiet contrast before returning to a final statement of the tune, Aurelia, with an exciting reprise of the fanfare for a stunning conclusion. Brass parts are also available for use in lieu of the organ.
