Review:
This setting of the old hymn tune HOLY MANNA is propelled forward by the insistent, malleted, drum-cadencing rhyhtmic accompaniment. This builds from a single opening note to tall chords supporting the single line melody. Some contrasting material smooths out the music for a time, but soon gives in to the energy of the beginning. Sixteenth notes abound! Measures total 73.
