This Joyful Eastertide

Review:      Cathy Moklebust has arranged the 17th-century Dutch tune VRUECHTEN for 3–6 octave handbells. This festive arrangement is appropriate on Easter Sunday or at any time throughout the Easter season, as well as for spring concert use. It features a lively original melody used as an introduction, for interludes, and as an ending. Special handbell techniques include malleting, plucking, thumb-damping, and martellato. An edition for 2–3 octaves is available. The two editions are compatible for massed ringing. Measures total 80.
