Review:
Six handbells, ranging from D5 to E6, are the sole accompaniment to this setting of Felix Mendelssohn's favorite Christmas carol. The bells ring simple rhythms in a unison line. Chimes are equally acceptable as bells, and may even enhance the warmth of the women's voices. A separate score is included in the back of the octavo.
