Oblivion
This amazing work written by Argentinian composer, Astor Piazzolla in 1982 for the soundtrack to the film Henry IV is in the style of a tango including elements of jazz and even classical influence. His particular style of tango has been appropriately called nuevo tango. The melody is almost haunting in its beauty and the arranger has beautifully preserved the original style in this transcription for handbells and handchimes. "Oblivion" is written so well that ringers will respond to its innate musicality and play it with the expression it deserves. Key of C Minor with hints of G Minor. 77 measures.

NEW for 2024: 7 octave arrangement that is compatible with the original 4-6 octave arrangement.
