Simple Praise
Three early-American shaped-note hymn tunes (FOUNDATION, HOLY MANNA, and RESIGNATION) are combined to form a satisfying offering to use anytime during the church year. Liberal use of special techniques adds to the musical momentum while providing teachable moments for developing ensembles. Scored for 65 measures, this work is arranged in F Major.
