I Am the Lord
The text of this original anthem for SATB chorus, keyboard and optional brass and handbells is taken from Isaiah 43: The Lord God created the heavens and stretched them out. The music is majestic, moving through chromatic harmonies and scoring for the handbells for the better part of the work. The handbell part is included with the brass part. Brass sextet consists of three trumpets, three trombones.
