Sur le Pont d'Avignon (On the Avignon Bridge)
This is an arrangement of a children's French folk song about a dance performed on the Pont d'Avignon, officially the Pont Saint-Bénézet, that dates back to the 15th century. Written in the theme and variations form, it begins easy, then gets progressively more difficult. Ringing techniques include martellato, mart lift, and swings.
