Iowa Rain
"Iowa Rain".. this is what it sounds like to me, at least, in southwest Iowa. It's not just any old rain either; it's that cold autumn rain when you know summer is over and winter is approaching too quickly. That rain that you don't want to go out into because it's just cold and you're not ready for that. I often have melodies running and developing in my mind during my rather lengthy commute to and from work. This melody stayed with me and reminds me of that cold, autumn rain.
