The Burma Bell, or Kyeezee, is a traditional bronze bell from the temples of Burma. Hung by a string, it is played by striking the surface with a wooden mallet (not included). This causes the bell to spin, which creates a perceived mystical, vibrato-like pulse. Throughout its ancient history, the Burma Bell has been thought to settle quarrels, redeem captives and even appease jilted lovers. Legend notes their value as so high that people would sell anything, including relatives, to obtain one. Our price is far more reasonable, though we find the timbre simply breathtaking.
