How Deep the Father's Love for Us
Stuart Townend's powerful contemporary hymn can now be experienced through handbells. Three verses of artistically interpreted music reflects the building emotions of the lyrics--"How deep the Father's love for us, How vast and without measure..." A good portion of the music is written in the lesser used time signature of 5/4, and there are a fair amount of sixteenth notes. It is also purposefully written within comfortable singing range, should a vocalist care to join the bells (although there is not a choral score for this setting). "How Deep the Father's Love for Us" will be a moving statement in a worship service as well as an emotional addition to concert or festival repertoire. Scored in F Major, it is 52 measures.
