Trumpet Voluntary
This highly versatile setting of Stanley’s Trumpet Voluntary has 5 performance options: handbells, handbells and trumpet, handbells and organ, handbells with trumpet and organ, or organ and trumpet. The handbell part can stand alone since the instruments are not required for performance. It may also be played antiphonally with the handbell choir and organ physically separated. Steady, on-the-beat ringing is called for in the treble and the bass clef. The organ and trumpet parts(Bb or C trumpet options) are included in the director score with permission to reproduce. This energetic, joyous arrangement is equally at home in church or concert setting, and is also suitable for weddings or festival conferences. It is the perfect length at 65 measures and is set in C Major.
