Flexible Hymn Accompaniments Set 2
Similar to Set 1 (Christmas), Set 2 (General) contains settings of five familiar hymns, arranged for organ and 3-5 octaves of handbells. Each tune contains an introduction or interlude, a traditional and an alternate harmonization. Parts for C instrument and vocal descants are included in the full score. This approach allows the musical forces to combine in a variety of ways to give a fresh, unique sound to congregational singing. Titles included are: "Alleluia, Sing to Jesus"; "We Gather Together"; "Come, Christians, Join to Sing"; "Praise Ye the Lord, the Almighty"; and "For the Beauty of the Earth".
