The excitement and joy of Easter is captured in this celebratory anthem for SATB choir and keyboard with optional handbells, brass, and timpani. Quoting "Lyra Davidica," Allen Pote incorporates driving rhythms and building momentum, to exemplify skillfully the text “Christ is risen, alleluia!” The handbell part is included. Brass parts include: Trumpet 1 & 2, Trombone 1 & 2, Horn (in lieu of Trombone 1), Tuba & Timpani.
