Comfort, Comfort Ye My People
This commissioned work by composer Kevin McChesney is based on Psalm 42. Full of rhythmic vitality - helped along by meter shifts from 6/8 to 3/4 - the music pulses along through all 142 measures. The absence of special techniques gives both listener and ringer a pure "rung bell" experience. Cheerful Comfort!
