Review:
Gustav Holst's gorgeous string passage from his Jupiter movement of "The Planets" Suite is set for bells, organ and optional brass and percussion. This is straight ringing (there are only a couple of shakes) at its best - a big full sound for worship or concert. Have your choir listen to the Jupiter movement and get a feel for the larger movement from whence this came. Brass ensemble consists of 2 trumpets, French Horn, Trombone, Tuba and Timpani. It is scored in G Major and is 56 measures.
