Review:
The "singing bell" technique for the middle bells is featured in the reverent setting this ancient melody. The tune is carried between high and low bells, with some tolling and echoed effects adding color. Rhythms are simple, with quarter notes being the quickest unit of beat, and accidentals are kept at a minimum. The "singing" is the only significant challenge for the ringers. Also included is some random ringers by the higher treble ringers. This arrangement is set in d minor and is 68 measures.
