Review:
A "call and response" approach, characteristic of the style of spirituals, is used in this upbeat arrangement. The piece offers plenty of stopped sounds, as well as the option of a new technique in which ringers mallet the handles of the bells. All ringers have an opportunity to share in playing the melody, which is featured in the treble, mid-range and bass bells. 3- and 4-octave choirs will appreciate the minimal number of parentheses and brackets. Arranged in Eb Major, measures total 64.
