Review:
The dorian mode is like a pure minor scale with a raised 6th interval. This slight change from minor adds new color dimensions and is the basis for this festive dance. Meter shifts from compound to simple, keeping the ringers and audience "on their toes". All manners of techniques are used, from mallets to gyros to martellatos. Measures total 82.
