Review:
Written in commemoration of the victims and heroes of the attacks of September 11, 2001, this strong and big setting of the "National Hymn (known also as "God of Our Fathers") includes parts for 3-octaves of handchimes, organ or keyboard and a brass ensemble. The musical textures range from bright fanfares to reflective passages to strong, sure statements of the theme all in eighty measures. Brass ensemble consists of two Trumpets, Horn in F, Trombone, Tuba and Timpani.
