Commissioned in memory of 21 lives lost on board the TWA flight 800 in July of 1996, this beloved Philip Bliss hymn tune, VILLE DU HAVRE, has a score for optional 3 octaves of chimes, violin or flute. On July 21, 1996 an angle cloud appeared above the bereaved community along with 21 smaller clouds and two rainbows. This is the inspiration for the piece and the performance notes go into more detail. A comforting and encouraging arrangement. 121 measures.
