Review:
Mark Hayes is a master of keyboard writing. In this selection, Jefferey A. Hall has transcribed one of Mr. Hayes' French carol settings. Lively, set in 12/8, and with all ringers involved, the piece begins in happy abandon. Optional 2 to 4-octaves of chimes enter in the middle section and contribute their special tambre to the sound fabric. Later staccato technique jumps in and the final note makes its point with a martellato. Eighty-five measures.
