Old Time Hallelujah Religion

Review:      The famous rhythmic motive associated with "Hallelujah!" from G.F. Handel's Hallelujah! Chorus" is found scattered throughout this fun setting of the traditional spiritual. There's lots of articulations (marts, mallets, echo, etc.) and even the infamous grand pause (you know, the one where somebody always sings ha-le-lu-jah in the rest!) with the instructions "FREEZE FOR 3 BEATS!" Rehearsal and performance notes are given on the final page. 70 measures.
