Review:
"Jesu Meine Freude" translates into English, "Jesus My Friend", and is based on a tune by Johann Sebastian Bach. The chorale section is predominantly quarter and half-note chords in a semi-open spacing with a few bell changes in the harmonies. The fantasy section actually slows down and is to be rung in a gentle manner. Here, more fluid lines run in thirds and sixths with the occasional special technique scored in for emphasis.
