Review:
Optional percussion instruments add even more celebration to this festive, original composition. A big fanfare leads to an unexpected, simple presentation of the melody which grows throughout the first section. The next sections are replete with the echo, martellato and staccato techniques. A faster section introduces a bouncy, syncopated, staccato rhythm in the bass that propels the work toward a flashy finish.
