Review:
This setting of the old sacred folk tune from "The Sacred Harp" includes a part for optional Bb trumpet. The arrangement reflects the style of the "singing schools" of the nineteenth century. A steady rhythm is important to the successful interpretation of this piece. The dotted-sixteenth notes must be kept crisp and precise.
