The expressive, happy, bitter-sweet and joyful melody of this original work was meant, perhaps, to reflect the lives of the two people to whose memory it was written. The tune stays entirely in the upper bells with a lilting, 6/8 accompaniment. All manner of techniques are used to further enhance the joy of the work. Written primarily in the keys of C Major and c minor, measures total 103.
