Review:
An informative note from the arranger gives the history and definition of the dance term "Gavotte." The two included here are J.S. Bach's from the sixth violin sonata and one by F.J. Gossec. The Bach is a level three and the Gossec a level three plus or four depending on whether or not the optional notes are played.
