Review:
Arranger Kevin McChesney has captured the spirit of this Brazilian folk song through use of staccato, marts and mart-lifts and shifting dynamics. A separate, easy-to-read percussion part is included in the back of the folio and includes tambourine, castanets or woodblock and triangle. The tempo of quarter = 132-144 contributes to the level III marking along with a more challenging part for the F& G5 ringer. Set in a minor, measures total 93.
