Review:
The German Tune, LIEBSTER JESU, by Johann R. Ahle is here set for 2-3 octaves and falls into that category of much-needed worship and concert repertoire for this range of bells. The melody is woven in and out of accompaniment throughtout the piece giving all the bells a chance to sing out (or is that ring out?). The harmony is enriched at points with newer harmonies and the tempo is flavored with ritards and "a tempos".
