Review:
"Danse Arabe" or "Arabian Dance" is taken from "The Nutcracker Suite" by Peter Tchaikovsky and here set for 4-6 octaves of handbells and 3-4 octaves of handchimes (the chimes are not optional) and tambourine. The level rating is V and this is due mostly to the ornamentation figures that correspond to the original work. The tempo is marked Allegretto and stays there throughout the work. Extensive performance notes are given. Measures total 102.
